Biography of Lucien Delarue

Lucien Delarue  was born on November 10th, 1925. He studied at the studios of grande Chamiere, Paris as a pupil of Maitre Yues Brayer and began taking part in exhibitions very early in his career,winning first prise and the Vermeil-Medaille at the Salon Violet. Delarue has also recieived a gold medal at the Salon of Vincennes, agold medal a the Salonof Clichy in 1973, a silver medal at the Salon des Artistes Francais in 1974 and a bronze medal at the Arts-Sciences-Lettres exhibition in Paris.

In 1970, Delarue's works were exhibited a the Museum of Ile de France in the chateau of Sceaux, and had other exhibitions held in New York and In San Francisco. He is a member of the Salon de Artistes Francais and of the French Watercolor Society.
