Biography of Pierre Eugene Duteurte

Pierre E. Duteurtre was born July 10, 1911 to the Mourning Barre (Val d'Olse) His career as a designer began in 1930.

From 1934 to 1939 he worked for Paris based Publishing SPE. From 1947 he worked for the publications Marijac wher he reated on his series Marija scenarios the most famous Sitting Bull. This series includes 277 plates, appered from 1948 to 1953 in the journal Coq Hardi. It was reprinted by the Glenat, in two albumss released in 1976 and 1979.

Had to work for publications Marijac until 1968. Then he left omics to devote himself fully to painting.

Pierre E. Duteurte died on November 9, 1989 of a stroke.
